01CAREERS — OPEN ROLES

Build systems thatdo the boring work.

We hire engineers who like the unglamorous part of the job: the part where software meets a real operation and has to work on a Tuesday afternoon. Small team, senior peers, real users, production every week.

02HOW IT FEELS TO WORK HERE

Senior peers,
real users,
no theatre.

Every project has a name, a face and a business metric behind it. You will talk to the operations manager whose week you are about to shorten, and you will see your build go live — not into a backlog graveyard. There is no layer between you and the outcome, so you learn faster than titles would ever allow.

We keep craft standards non-negotiable: typed codebases, reviews before merge, automated tests on the boring paths, documentation that the next engineer (including future you) can actually use. But process is a tool here, not a religion — if a rule stops paying rent, it gets deleted.

Remote-first with occasional on-sites to work directly with client teams. We pay above market for the markets we hire in, and we care more about the systems you have shipped and kept running than the logos on your CV.

03CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
HIRING STATUS
NO OPEN ROLES RIGHT NOW

We are not actively recruiting for open roles at this time.

Our core engineering team is currently focused on client platforms, open-source initiatives, and internal automation products. We do not hire for headcount — we hire when a problem demands world-class focus.

That said, we always want to know builders who care about typed codebases, autonomous agents, and pragmatic system design. When new client pods or specialist contracts spin up, we contact engineers in our network first.

OPEN TRANSMISSION / STAY IN TOUCH

Send your GitHub, the system you are proudest of having built, and your focus areas to hello@thepilab.in. We read every email from builders.
